DyNaMo is an interdisciplinary research unit dedicated to uncovering the physical, molecular, and biochemical mechanisms that govern biological systems across scales—from single molecules and membranes to cells, tissues, and organisms and from microseconds to minutes.
Our team brings together experts in cell biology, biochemistry, and experimental and theoretical biophysics. By integrating these diverse approaches with the development of innovative nanotools, we explore the dynamics, interactions, and mechanical properties of biological systems across a broad spectrum of spatial and temporal scales.
Based on the scientific campus of Luminy, we actively collaborate with research groups in developmental biology, cancerology, neurobiology, immunology, and instrumentation development, in Marseille and internationally.
Beyond research, we are deeply committed to expanding the international reach of our lab. We prioritize education, science outreach and open science, and the promotion of gender equality and diversity.
